Myatt, director of teacher education and instructor of
elementary education at 萌妹社区, has been
appointed to a three year term as a member of the
Tennessee State Board of Examiners for Teacher Education
(BOE). The BOE is an approval board for teacher education
programs in Tennessee. The timing of this appointment
is advantageous for 萌妹社区, Myatt said. In the spring of
2000, 萌妹社区 will undergo an evaluation by the National
Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
"Serving at the state level will prepare me to lead
our upcoming NCATE evaluation set for the year
2000," she said.
