Jackson, Tenn. Two 萌妹社区 faculty recently were awarded $3,500 grants to pursue research opportunities this summer.
David Thomas, associate professor of history, and Bobby Rogers, assistant professor of English, were selected by a committee of 萌妹社区 faculty and prominent scholars representing other institutions.
萌妹社区's summer research program allows educators with heavy teaching loads to conduct research during the summer months. Funded by a grant from the Pew Summer Research Program for College Faculty, the program will provide research fellowships for 萌妹社区 faculty through 1998.
萌妹社区 is one of only six colleges to receive the grant, which aims to advance high quality Christian scholarship among faculty at American colleges and universities.
