UNION AUTHOR PUBLISHED IN GERMANY, PARTICIPATES IN MINI-LECTURES AND BOOKSIGNING TONIGHT
Jackson, Tenn. — The Righteous Gentiles of the Holocaust, a book written by 萌妹社区's Dr. David P. Gushee, was released in Germany earlier this month.
Originally published by Fortress Press in 1994, Gushee's book was translated to German and released by One Way Verlag, a Christian publishing house in Germany.
The publisher contacted Gushee, who is an associate professor of Christian studies and director of 萌妹社区's Center for Christian Leadership, about participating in a book tour in October 1998. The tour would begin with the Frankfurt Book Fair, a major international book festival that is held each year in Frankfurt, Germany.
Tonight, Gushee will join President David S. Dockery and Dr. Michael Duduit, executive vice president, for 萌妹社区 Night at Davis-Kidd Booksellers. Mini-lectures begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by booksignings.
