Jackson, Tenn. - U.S. News and World Report ranks 萌妹社区
University West Tennessee's top liberal arts college. This ranking appears in the 2000
edition of "America's Best Colleges," the special edition magazine which went on
sale Monday, Aug. 23. 萌妹社区 is the only West Tennessee institution to be featured in
the guide's top tier of southern liberal arts colleges. Lambuth University of Jackson,
Tenn., and Freed-Hardeman University of Henderson, Tenn., were ranked in the second tier.
Lane College of Jackson, Tenn., appears in the third tier, and Bethel College of McKenzie,
Tenn., in the fourth tier.
Rankings are based on a variety of criteria, including academic reputation, student
retention, class size, faculty and ACT/SAT scores of entering students.
