JACKSON, Tenn. — Jan. 19, 2007 — Ann Livingstone of the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre in Ottawa, Canada, will speak at 萌妹社区 Jan. 22 as part of 萌妹社区鈥檚 ongoing 鈥淭own and Gown鈥� series on war.
Livingstone, director of research at the Pearson Peacekeeping Center and a former 萌妹社区 political science professor, will speak at 6 p.m. on the topic, 鈥淎symmetric War-Asymmetric Peace.鈥� The lecture will be held in the Harvey Auditorium in the Barefoot Student 萌妹社区 Building. It is free and open to the public.
According to its Web site, the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre 鈥渋s a Canadian organization whose mission is to make peace operations more effective through research, training, education and capacity building.鈥�
