‘A Christmas’ set for Dec. 3

JACKSON, Tenn.Nov. 25, 2013 — Community members are invited to a night of Christmas carols and Scripture reading at the annual “A Christmas” Dec. 3 in ’s G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.

Hosted by ’s department of music, the evening will include familiar tunes as well as new musical works. Selections will feature students from throughout the university performing with the University Orchestra, University Singers, Cantilena, Handbell Choir, Harp Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Proclamation, Men’s Choir and the University Children’s Chorus.

“A Christmas” begins at 7:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
