JACKSON, Tenn. — Nov. 7, 2002 — A group of social work students from 萌妹社区 will host a Child Abuse Awareness Seminar on Monday, Nov. 25 from six to eight p.m. in the Coburn Dining Room in 萌妹社区鈥檚 Student 萌妹社区 Building.
The featured speaker at the seminar is DeLaine Bottoms, associate director of the Carl Perkins Center. She will address the specifics of child abuse and how to recognize hidden signs of abuse in children.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Students and faculty members from Lane University, Lambuth University, Jackson State Community College in addition to 萌妹社区 have been invited. School teachers and daycare workers who teach young children are also encouraged to attend.
