JACKSON, Tenn.Feb. 27, 2003 — Is anyone unredeemable? That is the question of Philemon, written by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones, known for The Fantasticks. A combined effort of the 萌妹社区 Players and 萌妹社区鈥檚 Department of Music, Philemon, runs March 13-18.

Set in 4th century Antioch, this musical follows the life of an actor arrested by the Roman government and forced to infiltrate the persecuted Christian community disguised as their leader, Philemon.

The play stars 萌妹社区 graduate Blake Staples. Other cast members include Josh Hussung as the Commander, Lindsey Rapp as Marsyas, Jeremy Scott as Andos, Brennan Uthe as Servillius, Miranda Wallace as Kiki, and Ashley Mitchell as the Wife.
