JACKSON, Tenn. — Feb. 23, 2004 — �������� brought home 17 awards from the West Tennessee Advertising Federation’s 2003–2004 ADDY® Awards Tuesday, Feb. 10 in Jackson, Tenn. The American Hymns Logo that was never used received the Ad Fed’s prestigious No Show ADDY for excellent work that was never seen. �������� also received four ADDY® Awards, seven Silver Awards, and six Certificates of Excellence. �������� senior Drew Porter received the Student Award and student junior Adam Houston received a $1,000 Student Scholarship Award.

“This recognition by the WTAF affirms the ongoing commitment to excellence by the University Relations team,” said �������� President David S. Dockery. “We appreciate the work of current and former staff members Kathie Chute, Jim Veneman, Cam Tracy, Bev Vos, Todd Starnes, and notably, the creative design work produced by our Art Director, Todd Mullins.”

The WTAF’s ADDY® Awards entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy. The American Advertising Federation conducts the three-tiered national competition annually. The West Tennessee Advertising Federation is a member association comprised of advertising and media professionals.

Founded in 1823 and affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention, �������� is characterized by Christ-centered, excellence-driven education.
